This program is specially designed for children ages 4 to 6. It helps to improve children’s focus and listening skills, self-esteem, and gross motor skills. Students learn self-discipline in a fun, structured program that helps build self-control, balance, fitness and flexibility.We recognize that 4 to 6 year old have very different developmental needs than their older counterparts,and this program bridges that developmental gap and prepares students for the next level.

Kali includes hand-to-hand combat, joint locks, grappling and weapon disarming techniques. Although in general, emphasis is put on weapons for these arts, some systems put empty hands as the primary focus and some old school systems do not teach weapons at all. The traditional martial arts of the Philippines ("Filipino Martial Arts," or FMA) that emphasize weapon-based fighting with sticks, knives, bladed weapons and various improvised weapons. Kali, is the national sport and martial art of the Philippines.

It is more challenging than ever to be a teenager in America. Fear and distractions seem to be at an all-time high, and our media-savvy kids are well aware of it. Our program strives to provide our teens with the self-confidence and focus they need to make it in today’s world. Students engage in a fun activity that is physically rewarding and challenging while in a safe environment with positive role models. Students also develop positive character traits such as perseverance, goal-setting, integrity and discipline. Teens find that our martial arts program is high energy, exciting, and motivating. Students will enjoy the workout as well as the life long friendships that are built exercising and training with people who have similar goals.
